It isn't every day an impoverished young gentleman inherits a sizable fortune and an estate. Nickolas Pritchard, not only impoverished and young but a gentleman as well, felt his luck acutely the day just such a remarkable inheritance fell upon him. The future has never looked brighter for once penniless Nickolas Pritchard. Now in possession of an unforeseen legacy from a distant cousin, he can finally woo the exquisite Miss Castleton, belle of the London Season. What better setting for matchmaking than Ty Mynydd, his ancestral home nestled in the untamed hills of Wales? Ideal, indeed . . . except for the ghost. For nearly four hundred years, Gwen has walked the halls of the home in which she lived and died a mysterious death. But despite centuries as the reigning force within her ancient residence, nothing prepares her for the charm and unexpected appeal of Englishman Nickolas. A deep and abiding affection grows between the two, tempered by the unbreakable barrier that separates them. They cannot possibly hope for a happily ever after. There can be no future between a man yet living and a woman long dead. But how can Nickolas possibly give Gwen up? And how can Gwen face an eternity without Nickolas?

I will admit that I check pretty regularly to see if Sarah Eden has a new book out. When I saw that she had released a new book only days before, I was ecstatic. I got my hands on it as soon as possible and put off my homework to read it. Sarah Eden's books are definitely worth it.This book was wonderful. When I first read the summary of this book I felt a bit worried and intrigued; I couldn't see how a happy ending could happen, but I knew that since Sarah Eden was the author everything would work out.
The characters were an absolute delight. I often found myself laughing, smiling, giggling, and so on. I enjoyed every second of this book.
Without giving away the end, all I can say is I cried with joy. No exagerations- I actually cried. I typically avoid crying at all costs, but I was so happy that I couldn't stop myself. This book was an absolute delight from beginning to end, except for a few occasions where I called Nickolas an idiot (though I do have to admit, I was even enjoying myself then).
I absolutely loved this book; it is probably one of my favorite books of all time (and I have read a lot of books). This book is not worth just one, but many readings, so stop reading my review and read the book. :)

An Unlikely Match Sarah M Eden 9781608615667 Books Reviews
This is perhaps my least favorite of Sarah M. Eden's books (which is a difficult thing to admit--that I might really have a least favorite when it comes to her writing), but only because it is a "ghost" story and so different from her other works (and as you can see, I still gave it 5 stars). The story itself is fascinating and enjoyable, even if it is improbable, but the characters are well-written, likeable, and you are left with a bit of a mystery until the ending (of course!).
Love this story! It is the perfect ghost story! Sarah Eden does it again with this great book in a genre outside her norm. I usually don’t like paranormal books, but I really liked this one. This is a clean regency romance with a paranormal twist.
What a delight to read a different type of story and in Wales not England. Kinda reminds me of the Ghost and Mrs. Muir but flipped. This ghost is a girl. Sarah has a wonderful story telling ability for those who are new to her works check out Drop of Gold or Seeking Persephone.
The review on this book says enough all I can say is this is an enjoyable story line. Enjoy
Another great one by Sarah M. Eden! I love every single one of her books but I put off reading this one for the longest time because I thought I wouldn't like the "ghostly" aspect of the book. However, by the first two chapters, I was hooked!
I loved her spirit and his sense of humor. Their banter was hilarious. I loved the history that was entwined with the story. I really felt for Gwen and everything that she had been through. Throughout the story, you can't help rooting for her and desperately hoping that everything will come to a good end.
A little unorthodox for a Regency Romance but a hit nonetheless and right on par with all of Sarah M. Eden's other books! Read them all!
Sarah Eden knows how to write a good clean romance! I love this book! I had the great fortune of reading it in October, which I think added to the whole experience. I mean what other time of year do you believe more in a romance between a ghost and a human. The characters are well developed, and there are no "plot holes". You root for both the main characters. You find that you understand what is driving their decisions and experience the heartache that the character is feeling when faced with the decision.
Sarah Eden is my favorite author. I am a romance fan but I don't want to be in anyone's bedroom. Sarah writes a believable, real love story based on real love not just physical infactuation.
I have read many of Sarah Eden's books and this one was different from the rest. It was a great book to read, just not what I expected.
This book is set during the Regency Period in Wales. Nickolas Pritchard has just received and unexpected inheritance. Orphaned as a young boy, he has been passed from one family to another and doesn't have money to call his own.
With his change of fortune, he invites the object of his affection, Miss Castleton. and her family to join him as guests in his new home. He also invites the Davis family who had been generous in opening their home to him during his time of need. The guest he didn't plan on was the resident ghost, Gwen.
This is a sweet romance story with surprising turns. I wondered how she would pull it all together and she did a great job. Of course, it is exactly what I would expect of Sarah Eden. She has never disappointed me in my expectations of her books.
I wish I could do 2.5. It's more of a fantasy romance book. Not nearly as enjoyable as the others I've read authored by her.
Could not get into the characters on a personal level. Everything unbelievable ( hence the Fantasy genre). The end could have been done so many ways , yet Eden chose the weakest and MOST implausible ( again - I realized total fantasy).
I did enjoy some of the descriptions at the end , during the climax chapter. She had a way of creating some intriguing suspense there.
Epilogue had boring , super-predictable elements. I feel this was a waste of my money.
